I’ve worked on a variety of projects, specifically focusing on invasive species and climate change management in fisheries.
In MAF 315: Aquaculture Policy and Management, I covered invasive species in aquaculture and how management or sites have managed the spread.
In MAR 316: Science and Society, I presented and wrote about how climate change is affecting a specific fishery, the Summer Flounder (both the fish and humans) and how they’ve developed research or management to help decrease the impacts.
This led to my capstone project which concentrates on the Northeast
